Air Tattoo Bus Service 

Thamesdown Transport to provide special bus services from Swindon to Royal International Air Tattoo

 

Air Tattoo: 18 & 19 July

Swindon's main bus company, Thamesdown Transport, is again laying on a special shuttle bus service from Swindon Bus Station to the Tattoo at RAF Fairford this weekend.

 

Buses will leave Swindon Bus Station from 7am and run at least every 20 minutes up to 12:30pm.

 

All Thamesdown Transport buses have a dedicated route in and out of the airfield to jams. Travel time is appromimately 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

 

The return bus fare is £5 for adults and £3 for children. English national concessionary bus passes are not be valid on this special service.

 

Buses will return from RAF Fairford from 2:30pm, running every 20 minutes until the last bus at 7:30pm.

 

NOTE: this year admission tickets to the Tattoo will NOT be available at the gate. Bus and admission tickets can be purchased in advance from the Thamesdown Travel Shop in Fleming Way.

 

Customers with admission tickets can buy their bus tickets on the day of travel. Subject to availability, admission tickets will be sold at the shuttle departure point on the day of travel.
